3 Spooky just better.® Drinks That Are NOT Pumpkin Spice!

It’s spooky season, and we are here for the Halloween decorations, costume parties, and cute trick-or-treaters! But lurking in every coffee shop and bakery is the annual haunting of Pumpkin Spice! (eeek!) 🤣 

Don’t get us wrong, we love pumpkin in all its forms, even spiced, but what are some other festive flavors for drinks this season? 

We went on the hunt to discover and create tantalizing concoctions that are sure to WOW your party guests and warm your bones on a chilly autumn evening! 

Of course, we had to jazz things up with a boost of fiber because even witches, ghosts, and goblins need happy guts! 

For two of these recipes, we’ll be making a just better.® fiber “potion”! 😉
(It’s a great way to add just better.®  to chilled drinks!)
Are you ready to dust off your cauldron and brew up some seasonal fun? 

Ghostly Maple Apple Cider

We’re starting off with this super simple DIY apple cider recipe that has maple and cinnamon flavor notes —because if you make a big batch, you can use it in the recipes below!  Once you make your own cider at home, you won’t buy it prepackaged ever again. Your house will be filled with the scents of autumn, and it’s so easy! 

This is the basic bare bones recipe, leaving a lot of wiggle room for more spices like star anise, ginger, and nutmeg. Use your imagination for your very own secret brew!


  • 2 Pounds Organic Apples 
  • Filtered Water 
  • 3 Tablespoons All Natural, Organic Maple Syrup 
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks 

Clean, core, and seed apples, cut into cubes or wedges. (If you want to peel your apples for easier filtering later, go right ahead!)
In a large pot, add apple pieces, cinnamon sticks, and maple syrup. 

Pour filtered water over apples covering them by 1 inch. 

Partially cover the pot and allow it to simmer for about 2 hours.

Enjoy the fragrant scent of Fall swirling through your home. 
It’s like aromatherapy! 🥰 

Breathe, Relax, Stir occasionally and continue to cover partially.

After approximately 2 hours, the apples will be nearly dissolved, and your house will smell amazing. 🤗

Carefully pour cider through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. 

Serve warm, BUT FIRST, add a just better.® fiber stick pack, stir, garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick. Enjoy! 

Allow cider to cool completely before storing it in a tightly sealed glass jar in the refrigerator; use within 7 days. 

For Ghosts 21+, try adding your favorite bourbon for a Ghostly Cider boo-zy blend!

Autumn Goblin Sparkling Punch

This party punch is a crowd-pleasing medley of Fall flavors with a secret fiber boost! We love the addition of fresh seasonal fruit to snack on while you enjoy a tasty drink!


  • 5 Cups of Sparkling Water
  • 5 Cups Organic Apple Cider 
    (Use our recipe for Ghostly Maple Apple Cider above. YUM!)
  • 1 ½ Cups of Organic Orange Juice 
  • ½ Cup Warm Water
  • ¼ Cup just better.® fiber
  • ¼ Cup All Natural Organic Maple Syrup 
  • 3 Apples (any kind you like!)
  • 1 to 2 Oranges (Blood Oranges if you have super spooky vibes!)
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Pomegranate
  • Rosemary Sprigs

For this recipe, we need to make a just better.® fiber potion! Mix ½ cup warm water and a ¼ cup just better.® fiber and set aside.
(Our fiber doesn’t clump, lump, or gel!)

Thoroughly wash produce.

Thinly slice apples. 

Peel the orange and separate the wedges.

Cut Lemon into rounds, keeping the peel on.

Seed your pomegranate (Don’t know how? Try this!)

In your magic cauldron (or punch bowl 😉), combine the apple cider and orange juice; next, add the just better.® fiber potion. Mix in maple syrup to sweeten.

Add sliced apples, orange wedges, lemon rounds, and pomegranate. Slide in a few long rosemary sprigs so they can do their magic! YUM!  

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to get those flavors infused!  

Just before serving, add sparkling water; garnish with sprigs of rosemary.

For Goblins 21+, try adding your favorite spirits for a boo-zy blended punch!

just better.® Hocus Pocus Witch’s Brew 

This is a spin on the famous Halloween party drink, Witch’s Brew, which has many different variations. This is our take with an added fiber boost! 


  • 4 Cups of Sparkling Water
  • 3 Cups of Organic Apple Cider
    (Use our recipe for Ghostly Maple Apple Cider above. YUM!)
  • 1 ½ Cups Unsweetened Organic Cranberry Juice 
  • ½ Cup Warm Water 
  • ¼ Cup just better.® fiber
  • 1 Cup of Organic Orange Juice
  • 1 to 2 Oranges
  • 1 to 2 Apples
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • All Natural Organic Maple Syrup (Optional)
  • Whole Frozen Cranberries 
  • Mint Sprigs for Garnish

For this recipe, we need to make a just better.® fiber potion! Mix ½ cup warm water and a ¼ cup just better.® fiber and set aside. (Our fiber doesn’t clump, lump, or gel!)

Thoroughly wash produce.   Dice or slice apples in the desired shape.  Slice Oranges into rounds.   Mix apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, and your just better.® fiber potion in a large pitcher or punch bowl.  Add apple slices, orange rounds, and cinnamon sticks. Let this cold brew in the fridge for a couple of hours. 

Just before serving, add sparkling water; use frozen cranberries in place of ice, and garnish with a few sprigs of mint.   For Witches 21+, try adding your favorite spirits for a boo-zy party brew!   We hope you have fun with our Halloween-themed fiber-rich drinks.
