Eggnog is a creamy and rich drink traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, and eggs. It has been warming hearts since the 13th century. Originating in Europe, this festive drink crossed oceans to become a holiday staple in American homes.

Our just better.® recipe transforms this classic into a vegan delight, ensuring everyone in the family, from the little elves to the elder ones, can enjoy it without missing out on the holiday cheer. What's more, this recipe is not just about savoring the festive flavors but also about embracing a healthier lifestyle. 

The holiday season often brings with it an array of sugary temptations, from cookies to festive drinks. While we love indulging in these treats, they can often lead to rapid spikes and crashes in our blood sugar levels, leaving us feeling less than merry. 

Here's where our hero ingredient - just better.® Prebiotic Fiber - comes to the rescue!

just better.® Vegan Boozy EGGNOG

Serves 6


3 ½ Cups Barista Blend Oat Milk

1 14-oz Can full-fat Coconut Milk 

4-6 Tbsp Maple Syrup, to taste 

1/2 tsp ground Cinnamon, to taste

1/4 tsp fresh ground Nutmeg, to taste

6 to 8 Tablespoons of just better.® Prebiotic Fiber 

1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

1/8 tsp Ground Clove (optional)

1-ounce Rum, Brandy, or Bourbon (per 8-ounce serving)

Non-Dairy Whipped Cream (We like Coconut whipped cream)

Cinnamon and fresh Nutmeg to sprinkle on top


In a large saucepan, combine barista blend oat milk, full-fat coconut milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, fresh ground nutmeg, cloves, vanilla extract, and just better.® Prebiotic Fiber. 

Whisk the mixture often and heat it on medium heat until it is almost boiling. 

Whisk nog while simmering for 5-7 minutes on low heat.

Prepare festive cups or glasses: 

For Little Elves: 

Top with coconut whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon and fresh ground nutmeg.

For Elder Elves:

Add 1 ounce of Rum, Brandy, or Bourbon per 1 cup (8-ounce) serving. 

Transfer the remaining just better.® nog to a jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Expect some separation; shake well before serving.
