JBB NOTE: Before introducing any new supplement to your pet’s diet, always consult with your veterinarian to ensure it’s the right choice for your furry friend.
Woofberry Pupsicles
Ingredients:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup fresh or frozen organic blueberries
4 tablespoons just better.® Prebiotic Fiber
Directions:
Prepare the Ingredients: If using fresh, wash the blueberries thoroughly and set them aside.
Mix the Yogurt and Fiber: In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt with just better.® Prebiotic Fiber. Stir until the fiber is fully dissolved.
Add Blueberries: Gently fold the blueberries into the yogurt mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed. (Smash a few into the mixture and leave a few whole.)
Fill the Molds: Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds designed for dog treats.
Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
Serve: Pop the pupsicles out of the molds and serve them to your pup as a cool, refreshing treat on a hot day!
JBB Safety Tip: When making pupsicles, be sure to use molds that are the appropriate size for your dog. Choosing the right size helps prevent choking and ensures your furry friend can safely enjoy their tasty treat. Always supervise your pup when trying new snacks! 🐾
Doggone Peanut Butter Bark
Ingredients:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup all-natural organic peanut butter (ensure it DOES NOT contain Xylitol)
4 tablespoons just better.® Prebiotic Fiber
Why Avoid Xylitol: Xylitol is a sugar substitute that is extremely toxic to dogs, even in small amounts. It can cause a rapid release of insulin, leading to dangerously low blood sugar levels, which can be life-threatening. When choosing peanut butter for your dog's treats, always check the label to ensure it is free from Xylitol and other harmful additives.
Directions:
Combine Yogurt, Peanut Butter, and Fiber: In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt and just better.® Prebiotic Fiber, stirring until the fiber is fully dissolved.
Gradually add the peanut butter, spooning in small amounts and stirring until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Spread on a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the yogurt, peanut butter, and fiber mixture evenly over the parchment paper to about a ¼ inch thickness.
Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 2-3 hours or until the bark is firm and frozen.
Break into Pieces: Once frozen, break the bark into pieces appropriate for your dog’s size.
Store and Serve: Store the bark in an airtight container in the freezer and serve it to your pup as a special treat!
Celebrating Spoil Your Dog Day with these simple and healthy treats is a fantastic way to show your pup some extra love. 🥰
Adding just better.® Prebiotic Fiber to your dog's daily routine is a simple way to support their overall health. With the right dose based on your pup's weight, your furry friend can enjoy the maximum benefits of fiber, keeping them happy and ready for those healthy belly rubs.
Consider making it a staple in their diet for long-term wellness!
Remember, every dog is unique, so it's always best to introduce new foods gradually and consult your veterinarian to tailor your pet's diet to their specific needs.
