Sweet Balance:
A Smart Snack Made just better.®

Does this sound familiar? You’re craving a sweet bite, so you eat a little something indulgent… but then you’re hungry again an hour later. 🙄

👉 We’ve got the cheat code: Pairing. This small shift can make a big difference.

As a registered dietitian, our founder, Kristin, often talks about how thoughtful food pairing matters—especially when sweets are involved.

When something sweet is eaten on its own, the sugar is quickly digested and enters the bloodstream fast. That can lead to a sharp spike in blood glucose, followed by a crash not long after; that’s when food noise, cravings, or low energy usually kick in.

Pair that same sweetness with protein, fiber, and healthy fats? Everything slows down. Glucose enters the bloodstream more gradually, which helps support steadier energy and keeps us feeling satisfied longer.

When just better.® allulose is used alongside carbohydrates, it has been shown to help reduce the rise in blood glucose after eating. In a snack like this, that means the natural sugars from fruit are handled more gradually, helping to smooth out that typical spike-and-crash pattern.

Our just better.® Sweet Balance Fruit Dip is a simple way to put that into practice. Creamy Greek yogurt and simple spices create a lightly sweet, satisfying base. just better.® allulose and prebiotic fiber help turn this snack into something that works with your body to support steadier energy, quiet food noise, and curb the cycle of cravings.

Ingredient Highlight

just better.® allulose: A naturally occurring rare sugar derived from plants. It provides sweetness with little to no effect on blood glucose or insulin levels and has been shown to help reduce the glucose response when consumed with carbohydrates.

just better.® prebiotic fiber: When used with food, 10 or more grams of our soluble fiber can help slow the absorption of glucose during digestion. It supports fullness and helps create a more balanced blood sugar response to meals and snacks.

Greek Yogurt: Greek yogurt brings in live cultures that support gut health and pair well with prebiotic fiber to nourish beneficial bacteria. Choosing plain keeps added sugars out of the mix, so you control the sweetness, while also providing nutrients like protein, calcium, potassium, and B vitamins that support overall health.

Cinnamon & Nutmeg: Warm spices that bring depth and natural sweetness without needing additional ingredients.

Chia Seeds, Hemp Hearts, Walnuts: Each option adds healthy fats, fiber, essential nutrients, texture, and staying power. Chia offers a thicker consistency, hemp hearts keep it smooth, and walnuts bring a bit of crunch. Add one or all three and reach your 30-Plants Per Week goals!
